Benthic macro-invertebrates were sampled by 6th grade students on April 13th and sorted on the 14th.

Of the 85 benthics identified, approximately 27 percent made up the sensitive types including mayflies, stoneflies, and caddisflies. Scuds were the most abundant of any of the groups.
