NM Watershed Watch
(A project of the NM Watershed Watch - River Source program program)
River Source coordinates the New Mexico Watershed Watch program for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish as part of the aquatic education work done by that agency. Go to http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/education for more information.
Watershed Watch was started in the early 1990s by Dan Shaw (now at the Black Institute & Bosque School) and Dr. William Fleming (University of New Mexico). Watershed Watch connects students and teachers with community groups interested in aquatic habitat stewardship, restoration, and watershed and wetland restoration. River Source affiliated the project with the Rocky Mountain Watershed Network, River Network and the work of many watershed groups in New Mexico.
